We welcome Colin Bennett as the new convener and chair of the
Christchurch Fellowship of Churches.
Colin was raised in a poor family in Coventry, became a Christian while at college at
the age of 25, where he also met his wife Yvonne. They had three children, while Colin
and Yvonne were working in a challenging community in Sheffield.
Their children are now married and are all involved at some level
in church ministry.
Colin and Yvonne have been working at Moorlands
College in Christchurch for over two decades as Vice Principal,
especially focusing on Family, Youth, Children and Community Work
and have seen the college become a key training base for thousands
of Christian ministers. Colin and Yvonne have been members of Godfirst Church
(and its earlier names) for over 30 years.
